Welcome to the Rost Report. My name is Mrs. Rost.  I am the Primary Special Education teacher here at Komensky School.  This is my 7th year at Komensky School and my 15th year teaching special education.  I am very happy teaching your children in District 100.  I have found that the children  here are very respectful, and the parents are very supportive.  My philosophy of teaching is that everybody has strengths and weaknesses.  I try to teach the students to use their strengths to compensate for their weaknesses.  In my class we evaluate where each student is in reading, writing, math and behavior skills and help them progress in each of these areas.  I am fortunate to have two wonderful teaching assistants, Mrs. D and Ms. Vance who work tirelessly to help your children progress.
