The Periodic Table of Elements 
A Webquest
Introduction:
In 1872 a Russian scientist named Dmitri Mendeleev created the first periodic table, which grouped elements in rows and columns shared by chimerical properties. Below is a picture of the modern day periodic table of elements.

The periodic table of elements is the most important
chemistry reference there is and it is used by any body
studying
chemistry anywhere in the world.
Task:
Each student will receive a different element from the periodic table.
Your task is to use the worksheet provided to create a brochure to inform the public about your assigned element. Below is the suggested lay out for your tri-fold brochure. Be creative with font styles, sizes, color and over all design of the brochure.

Brochures are used by many of companies today to introduce their company, advertise a sale, or list their specialties. Armed with this information your objective is to create a tri-fold brochure to inform people about your topic.
Hints
· Keep information short and to the point.
· DO NOT copy and paste off the Internet.
· Putting information in your own words will make a better brochure.
· Use different font styles, sizes and color to make your brochure standout; however, it is best to keep the same style, size and color from section to section.
· Remember to include correct web addresses for all images copied from the Internet.
