Making a Difference

Students from Hiawatha's 1st grade classes planted bulbs in a garden on 26th Street.  After the planting was finished the students attended a Halloween party.

 

2006 Reading Night

 

Classrooms decorated their doors with their favorite book.

At the end of each trimester, students at Hiawatha are rewarded for meeting their Accelerated Reader Goals.  In November, the students celebrated, "Nacho Average Reader!"  In March, the students celebrated their success with "I Scream You Scream We All Scream For Ice Cream!"

 

District 2nd Math Olympiad Winners

Two Hiawatha students were the District's 1st place winner and 3rd place winner.  Our team tied for 1st place in the District.
